I think you did a great job having a lot of variety for the students. There's controversy, music, games, and proofs, not to mention the resources for help outside of the classroom. It seems to me that this would be something you did as a supplement to your curriculum, so students could find something about math that actually interests them. Would you ever bring any of this material into the classroom, or make it an assignment?
I really like this blog because it provides an area where students can interact with a variety of resources to better understand the material being taught within the classroom. I believe that your students will especially really like the Math Warehouse section of the blog.
